What is Economy Whey?
Whey concentrate supplements are arguably the most popular form of sports supplement in the world, and they are certainly one of, if not the best, selling supplements currently on the market. They are extremely popular because they are reasonably priced but are still fantastic for anybody looking to bulk up, increase their protein consumption, and increase their lean muscle mass. Economy Whey is an economical, high quality whey protein concentrate that provides 21 grams of high quality protein per 30 gram scoop.
How does it work?
Economy Whey works the same way as other whey protein supplements, which is what makes it so extremely popular with bodybuilders, strongmen, and various other athletes in general. Out of the three macronutrients (protein, fat, and carbohydrates) protein is by far the most important in terms of muscle growth, and general well-being for that matter. Protein plays a crucial role in muscle growth and repair, and it is also a critical component for cellular health and function. In terms of your physique however, protein concentrates really come into their own, as the proteins and amino acids found in the supplement, help to nourish the cells and the muscles in the body, providing all of the necessary tools and ingredients to initiate protein synthesis, which is where the body synthesizes new muscle proteins. When we exercise and damage and destroy our muscles, our bodies need proteins and amino acids to begin rebuilding them, so that they can build them up even bigger and stronger than they were before. Economy Whey is much quicker to be absorbed than whole foods, making it convenient and effective, especially where post-workout nutrition is concerned. On top of that, it also tastes great. Protein helps to naturally suppress the appetite, so we feel full for longer, and subsequently consume less calories.
What are the main benefits of Economy Whey?
Â
Some of the primary benefits associated with Economy Whey include:
Muscle growth and repair
Protein supplements are a staple ingredient in many bodybuilder’s daily diet, and for obvious reasons. Protein initiates protein synthesis allowing the body to begin repairing and rebuilding damaged muscle tissues, so obviously, without protein, how can the body be expected to repair said muscle tissues? For anybody trying to build muscle, or even to help their muscles repair themselves after exercise, Economy Whey is ideal.
Convenient
Another fantastic benefit associated with this protein supplement, is simply the fact that it is so incredibly convenient. Rather than having to cook a whole meal, and deal with pots and pans etc, you simply add a scoop or two to a glass of milk or water, give a good mix, and drink it straight down. This is not only useful for bodybuilders and people on high protein diets, it is also useful for people who may be worried that they don’t get enough protein on a daily basis.
Affordable
Economy Whey is so affordable and such a fantastic deal because it is not as filtered and stripped of fats and carbohydrates as whey isolate, but even so, a 21 gram protein amount per serving is still very beneficial, and when you consider the price difference between isolates and purer forms of protein, these supplements are perfect for people who are on budgets and who may be looking to watch their spending.
Other benefits include:
- Muscle growth and repair
- Tastes great
- Enhanced recovery
- Great source of high protein
- Quality protein
- And more...
Directions:
For optimal results, experts recommend consuming one scoop of protein 1 – 3 times per day, ideally with milk or water. On training days, make sure you consume 1 shake within 1 hour of wrapping up your training session, making sure to mix it with water for optimal absorption.
1 Scoop(s) 1 time(s) per day. Mix product well in 1-2 cups of liquid (water, juice, etc.) immediately before consumption. Store in a cool, dry place.
You may notice small particles on the side of the shaker/glass when mixing which is completely normal. This is caused by the slightly higher fat content of the Economy Whey and the Lecithin not being able to completely penetrate some particles during the agglomeration process. The particles in the liquid will tend to fully dissolve quickly after mixed usually within only 30-60 minutes.
Economy Whey vs. Whey blends
Obviously, whey protein concentrates and whey blends are very similar to one another, although, as the name suggests, with whey blends, you are getting different blends of whey proteins, which means that you are getting different concentrations. Because of this, absorption rates between the two may differ, as will overall protein amounts per serving.
What can it be stacked with?
Economy Whey is a staple supplement as part of virtually all bodybuilder’s supplement stacks, and because of this, you can stack it with supplements such as: creapure creatine monohydrate, BCAAs, Dextrose, and Micellar Casein.
