Created in state-of-the-art laboratories, under the strictest of conditions, C-INTRA [KETO] is the key to taking your training up a notch and moving to the next level.
What are the primary ingredients in C-INTRA [KETO] and why do they work?
We now know what C-INTRA [KETO] is, so now let’s take a look at what ingredients it contains to make it such a fantastic supplement:
Highly branched cyclic dextrin (only in the original C-Intra)
Highly branched cyclic dextrin, is sometimes referred to as cluster dextrin, and is considered to be a very potent and powerful carbohydrate that is proving highly beneficial to the sports and fitness communities. HBCD is produced via cutting edge processes, in which a specialist enzyme is added, allowing the molecules to form cluster-like structures from the starches. This in turn basically means that the dextrin is more soluble and is therefore easier to be absorbed by the body. Because if this, it is considered to be a superior carbohydrate source that has been proven to help increase energy levels, without causing spikes in insulin and/or blood glucose levels in general. When sipping on C-INTRA [KETO] as you train, you constantly keep your cells topped up with energy, meaning that the muscles can work harder, and for longer durations, before they begin to weaken and fatigue.
BCAAs
BCAAs, or Branch Chain Amino Acids, get their name because their chemical structure resembles that of a tree branch when examined under a microscope. BCAAs are made up of three essential amino acids. These are leucine, isoleucine, and valine. Leucine and isoleucine are great for your muscles because they help to stimulate protein synthesis, which is where the body creates new muscle proteins to repair damaged ones. This is important during training because it works almost like patching up your muscles as you train, keeping them that little bit stronger. Isoleucine however, also plays an important role in the production of energy. Obviously, this is very beneficial when working out. Valine plays an important role in muscle maintenance and function. Basically, valine helps ensure that your muscles are working as they should.
Lysine
Lysine is an amino acid utilized by the body to repair and build muscle tissue. It is an essential amino acid which means that the body cannot create it naturally, so it has to come in dietary form instead. Lysine assists with the growth of muscle tissue and collagen, which is important for the production of healthy cartilage. It also increases the uptake of other nutrients, including calcium, which is important because it basically ensures that you are able to absorb the more of the minerals and nutrients contained within C-INTRA [KETO] in the first place. In terms of energy production, Lysine assists with the production of creatinine. Creatinine is used to convert fatty acids into energy. Again, this helps fuel your body while you train.
L-Threonine
L-Threonine is another essential amino acid that the body cannot naturally produce. Threonine not only promotes general health and well-being by stimulating the immune system, it also has significant benefits on the human brain. L-Threonine has been found to help combat depression as it promotes the secretion of ‘happy chemicals’ in the body, which are designed to help lift your mood. This is important for times when you are mentally struggling with your training. Not only that, but it is also an important as it helps the body to create serine and glycine, which are two amino acids which also assist with collagen production. As you can see, everything is connected here with C-INTRA [KETO].
L-Methionine
Methionine is an amino acid that plays an essential role in the function of the metabolism. It has been proven to enhance lipid metabolism within the human body. In simple terms, it allows your body to take fats, both dietary and ones from body fat stores, and convert them into energy. By supplementing with L-Methionine you are basically helping your body to fuel itself by burning body fat, so you literally get the best of both worlds.
L-Phenylalanine
L-Phenylalanine is yet another amino acid that has to be supplemented as the body can’t naturally synthesize it. Once consumed, it is converted into tyrosine, which is important for cognitive health and function. Deficiencies have been found to contribute towards poor mood and low concentration and focus levels, which is obviously not ideal for somebody looking to push themselves through a strenuous workout. It has also been found to provide pain-reducing benefits to the body, so you can help keep painful DOMS at bay.
L-Histidine
L-Histidine is a conditionally essential amino acid that is actually a precursor for histamines within the body. This is important because, due to this, Histidine has been found to function as a vasodilator, helping the blood vessels to widen, and subsequently allowing more oxygenated blood to pass through. Histidine also plays a crucial role in the production of haemoglobin, which is a protein in the bloodstream that transports oxygen around the body, via red blood cells.
L-Tryptophan
L-tryptophan it utilized by the body to synthesize new muscle proteins, which means that you can potentially begin repairing and building your muscles during your workout. Once it crosses the blood-brain barrier however, it has also been found to provide significant benefits for the human brain. Here it is converted into serotonin. Serotonin has been found to increase mental clarity and focus, and boost your mood.
Potassium
Potassium is an important trace mineral that plays an important part in the function of healthy cells, tissues, and organs. It is technically classed as an electrolyte, meaning that it helps metabolize carbohydrates (such as dextrose) and build proteins. It has also been found to help prevent muscle fatigue and cramping. This is very important when training because muscle cramps can lead to injury and can result in your training session grinding to a halt.
Calcium
Calcium is another important trace mineral that plays an essential role in bone health and density. Beyond that however, it supports muscle and nerve function too. You see, calcium assists with the contraction of the muscles under stimulation, stimulation such as weight training or physical exercise in general. The harder the muscles contract, the more power they can generate. What’s more, calcium also provides fuel for the muscles as it activates a specialist protein known as calmodulin. Calmodulin is used by the cells in the muscles to provide the energy required for them to function.
Magnesium
Magnesium plays a key role in over 300 individual physiological processes within the human body. In terms of physical exercise, magnesium is vital because it assists with the maintenance and function of the muscles. It also provides substantial benefits for the brain, helping you to get into a better frame of mind and to become more focussed before training.
Glycine
Glycine is a non-essential amino acid, but don’t let that fool you, as it is still hugely beneficial when supplemented with. Glycine plays an important role in the formation of healthy DNA, making it an amino acid that is vital for optimal cellular health and function. In terms of athletic performance, the reason why C-INTRA [KETO] contains Glycine is the fact that it, along with two other amino acids, stimulates the production of creatine. Creatine allows the body to produce ATP, which is the primary source of energy for the muscles. Not only that, but Glycine is also the key component of collagen, making it another amino acid that is great for connective tissue in the body.
L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine helps to remove excess amounts of ammonia from the body, which can cause lactic acid to build up and cause muscle cramps. Glutamine also assists with basic metabolic functions and therefore has been found to provide energy for the body to help get you through a physically demanding workout. Glutamine is converted into glucose when you exercise, providing you with an instant energy source. Therefore, sipping on C-INTRA [KETO] as you train will basically provide you with a constant supply of energy.
Citrulline malate
Citruline Malate is another non-essential amino acid that helps to increase natural energy levels within the human body. Once consumed, it is converted into citrulline, before the liver then converts it into arginine. Here it is then converted into Nitric Oxide, which dilates the blood vessels and boosts circulation. Again, this allows for more blood flow and nutrients to be transported to the muscles.
Taurine
Taurine is another amino acid that plays a key role in countless physiological processes inside the body. To begin with, it is used by the body as the basic of protein molecules, so it is basically one of many protein building blocks. It also assists with the transportation of signals between nerve cells as it stimulates the release of neurotransmitters.
Calcium beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate
Calcium beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate, or HMB for short, is a specialist chemical that is created when leucine is broken down within the body. Studies have found that HMB helps to strengthen the muscles and assist with the formation of new and stronger muscle tissue. It has also been found to strengthen and protect the muscles from unwanted harm and damage. Basically, HMB assists with the growth of new muscle tissue, and keeps existing muscle well protected and in optimal working condition. If you imagine servicing a car to keep it in top working order, that's pretty much what calcium HMB will do for your muscle tissue.
