What is Hoodia Gordonii extract?

Hoodia Gordonii extract is a natural herbal supplement that is a member of the cactus family, though it is NOT a cactus. It is native to Southern Africa, namely the Kalahari Desert, where it thrives naturally in the wild. In its natural form, Hoodia Gordonii grows in clumps, with tan coloured flowers and thorns, and it actually has a pretty strong and unpleasant odour, which thankfully, is not present with the supplements.
